Last Christmas I was able to bring to the table something I loved as a child , my kids remembered slightly and was totally new to the new members of my family – a real English Christmas pudding!!  With practically zero work (although just having it around for a few days made me think I was doing all the prep work like my grandmother) we recreated Christmas of old. After the turkey was done and the table clear, we turned down the lights, poured the brandy and lit it up!  The young ones were amazed and those who had never seen it before couldn’t wait to taste it.
It was delicious and sparked conversations of Christmases past. It was a terrific success and we will for sure want to make it one of our family traditions.
