I purchased two Christmas puddings from “the Art of Pudding,” having never tasted a true English Christmas pudding before. We were in for a great surprise. The puddings arrived right on time, and I followed the instructions to pour my choice of liquors over the pudding to keep it fresh and moist before Christmas. The puddings are packaged in a hard plastic container that made them easy to store and kept them very fresh. On Christmas day, I followed the simple instructions to boil my pudding, and served it with one of the sauces recommended. The entire family was delighted with the rich, moist, fruity dessert. It was a lovely end to our traditional Christmas dinner, and one that we will enjoy again.
